thank youWow! Trash Bash turned out to be a smash! We had such a wonderful day.  Over 200 people came, wonderful artwork, fantastic music, informational workshops, delicious beer and entertaining commentary by our fabulous emcee’s, Joe Lynch and KyAnn Anderson of Greater Somerville. They rocked the house!

Thanks to all our participating artists.  Your works were so inspiring and we can’t wait to see what you do next year.

Thanks to all our thoughtful judges – Michelle Fiorenza of the Nave Gallery, Parris Saffari of Cambriville Connects and Jenny Brown of Somerville Climate Action. You had your work cut out for you!

Thanks to all our fantastic sponsors – Somerville Arts Council, Arts at the Armory, Slumbrew, Winter Hill Bank, ReCover Green Roofs and Ray Zonghetti Consulting. Without your support, this amazing community event would not have been possible.

Thanks to all our talented musicians – Saladin Islam, David Tanklefsky and Adela and Jude. Do check out their shows when you have a chance. You won’t be disappointed!

Thanks to all the non-profit organizations who participated to help make our community a better place – Somerville Local First, Somerville Climate Action and Next Step Living.

Thanks to Maureen Billaro for organizing such a great community participatory art project using recycled materials.  It turned out great!

We are thrilled and can’t wait until next year!
