Everybody is talking about Trash Bash 2013! Somerville’s First Recycled Art Competition. So come and see what the fuss is about! TODAY, May 19 from 11 AM to 5 PM at the Center for Arts at the Armory, 191 Highland Avenue, Somerville, MA. General admission is $5.00.
Featuring over 30 artists, including youth, live music, Slumbrew tasting, workshops, information tables, artists’ marketplace, and a public participation art project! Food will be available in the Arts at the Armory cafe.
Be entertained by the witty commentary of Joe Lynch and KyAnn Anderson of Greater Somerville and hear what Holli Banks of the Scout Magazines, Michelle Fiorenza of the Nave Gallery, Pardis Saffari of Cambriville Connects and Jenny Brown of Somerville Climate Action, our panel of celebrity judges, will say about the award-winning entries.
This is an ArtsUnion event, funded in part by the Somerville Arts Council. Additional sponsors are Winter Hill Bank, ReCover Green Roofs, Ray Zonghetti Consulting, Slumbrew and the Center for Arts at the Armory.
